With a passion for story telling, Kimberly O’Neill graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, specializing in video production.
She began her career in Buffalo, NY as a Production Assistant but relocated to Atlanta, GA in 1995 to work as the Associate Producer and Editor for Georgia Public Broadcasting’s local series, “Georgia Outdoors.” There, she was awarded two regional Emmy awards for her work on two underwater episodes.
In 1998 she was promoted to Editor for New River Communications and then to Senior Editor in 2001 when she began working with Chet Burks Productions. There, she edited many formats with clients that ranged from the Speed Channel to NBC Sports to the men’s TV network, MavTV.
In 2006, Kimberly made the
decision to become a freelance
editor and has been a regular
contributor at BCM ever since.
