| 09/04 Biscardi Creative Media is proud to announce that the public relations production, "Off Center Dance Theatre" has been honored with a second international award. The Aurora Awards honored OCDT with a Platinum Best of Show Award, the highest honor, in the Public Relations / Awareness category. We are absolutely honored to have been a part of this project and are proud that this project has garnered multiple national awards. Its a fantastic story and one which we were thrilled to bring to the screen, said Creative Genius, Walter Biscardi, Jr. Producer / Director Walter Biscardi, Jr. and Director of Photography Brian Gaffner spent three days in Westchester, New York in production on the philanthropic mission of the OCDT. The mission was to show the public that the OCDT is much more than just a dance company. Through a series of interviews and a performance at the Blythedale Children's Hospital, Biscardi told the story of Joe Antony Cavise and how he uses Dance as a tool to reach to out the less fortunate in the Tri-State area. Included in the interviews was Maria Cuomo Cole, Chairperson, HelpUSA. Creative photography by Brian Gaffner took full advantage of the Dance Studio setting to enhance the story. Biscardi and Gaffner used the mirrored walls of the studio to reveal both the video lighting and a true working dance studio. The finished 10 minute production was debuted during a live Off Center Dance Theatre Event at the SUNY Purchase theater.
