Producer/Director Clay Walker of Plan B Productions has hired Biscardi Creative�s Walter Biscardi, Jr. and Brian Gaffner to assist Clay in documenting the Home Depot NASCAR Nextel Cup team of Tony Stewart. The production team will be spending the weekend with Joe Gibbs Racing at the famed Darlington racetrack in Darlington, South Carolina from November 11 - 14.
After arriving at the headquarters of Joe Gibbs Racing in North Carolina, the production team will cover all activities of the #20 Home Depot team from loading the race cars into the hauler to the checkered flag on Sunday. This is a personal thrill for Walter because he is a big NASCAR fan and especially of Tony Stewart and Crew Chief Greg Zippadelli. �Clay has done several projects for the Home Depot team in the past and I was very excited to get the opportunity to join him on this project,� said Biscardi.
UPDATE: 11/14/04
We completed the first stage of photography with the team and it was a complete blast. The team members were just fantastic with special thanks to "Scooter," the team hauler driver. He and the rest of the #20 Crew went out of their way to make the production team feel at home and offered any assistance that we required. Clay Walker and Brian Gaffner rolled hours of footage while Walter Biscardi, Jr. snapped over 400 photographs during the weekend.
