Biscardi Creative Media kicks up our heels with the Off Center Dance Theatre

Biscardi Creative Media just completed a major Community Relations project with the Off Center Dance Theatre in Mamaroneck, New York. The Off Center Dance Theatre originally started as a vehicle for professional dancers from New York City to perform for the Westchester, New York community. Prior to founding Dance Cavise and OCDT, Joe danced in the roles of Mungojerry and Mr. Mistofolees in the Broadcast company of "Cats." Since its founding, OCDT has evolved beyond just dance into a philanthropic group which brings the joy of dance and positive spirit to many group in the Tri-State Area. Ronald McDonald House, Blythedale Children's Hospital and Help USA are among the many groups that have benefited from a long term relationship with Joe and the OCDT dancers. Producer/Director Walter Biscardi, Jr. and Director of Photography, Brian Gaffner, spent three days at the Dance Cavise Studios and Blythedale Children's Hospital shooting some 20 hours of original footage and interviews. Among those interviewed were Maria Cuomo Cole, daughter of former Governor Mario Cuomo, and the Chairperson of Help USA. Currently a 10 minute public relations DVD has been completed focusing almost solely on the philanthropic mission of OCDT.
