Biscardi Creative is proud to annouce that we have been selected to create a series of segments for the popular show "Good Eats" with Alton Brown on the Food Network.
"This is an absolute treat for me to be a part of this show," notes Walter Biscardi, Jr., Creative Genius, "it's one of my favorite shows on TV because of the fun and energy that Alton brings to each episode. So to get the call to help create some new segments is a great feeling."
Working together with Graphic Artist Brian Mead, Biscardi is creating a series of new segments that will begin appearing in early 2005 episodes. "Alton had a very specific look and feel he wanted and it has been a challenge pulling all the elements together in a very short timetable." said Biscardi. The results have been well received to date. "It's a great feeling to walk into the studio and have the crew really excited about what we're bringing to the show. It's really an honor for BCM to be invited to join such a creative team that puts together one of the most engaging programs on TV."
This entire project came about due to the online creative community, the Creative Cow (www.creativecow.net). Biscardi assisted Marion Laney (D.P.) on the community with some Final Cut Pro questions. "I found out Marion was the D.P. for the show and we chatted several times about my love for the show and he gave me a tour of the set a few months ago." Marion and Dana Popoff (Producer) invited Walter to meet with Alton Brown in November to discuss the new segments.
Sorry we can't tell you more about the project at this time, but we'll release more information once the first episode airs and at that time you'll be able to view samples in our Sample Works segment.
Until then, stay tuned and Good Eats!
