Biscardi Creative Media is proud to announce that Artist Walter Biscardi, Jr. has been recognized for his Editing by the Aurora Awards. Walter was given the Platinum Best of Show Award, the highest honor in the category, for his work on �Inner City Evangelism� for the North American Mission Board.
Producer Cheryl Collins came to BCM with a vision to create a very gritty urban feel to the project to promote missionary work in the inner cities across the United States. Working solely with Final Cut Pro and Photoshop, Walter created a heavily layered composition which utilized up to 27 tracks of video. �This was the first time I used only Final Cut Pro for a project with very heavy compositing elements. We needed the flexibility to make changes to both the timeline and the images within the story quickly and FCP was better suited to that than After Effects,� said Biscardi.
About the Aurora Awards: The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. It specifically targets programs and commercials that would not normally have the opportunity to compete on a national level, by focusing on non-national commercials, regional or special interest entertainment and corporate sponsored film and video. Entries come from across the US, and abroad. such as Canada, Hong Kong, Denmark, Mexico, etc.
