Biscardi Creative Media is a full service script to screen production company started by the Creative Genius, Walter Biscardi, Jr. also known as Wally by his friends. That’d be me. Now before you go getting all upset about the whole “Creative Genius” thing, here’s the story…..
My original title was “Editor / Creative Director.” Well, and owner of course. One of my strengths is the use of After Effects and Photoshop to enhance edits, “fix it in post,” and create material for holes that existed in various edits. During the course of some of those edits, clients would say “you’re a freakin’ genius!”
One day I’m watching a classic Bugs Bunny / Wil E Coyote cartoon where Wil E raises a door next to Bug’s hole. Bugs opens the door and is presented a business card. “Wil E Coyote. Genius.” My wife turned to me and say, “you should put THAT on your card.” From that, Creative Genius was born. I’m happy to say the title of Creative Genius has really only upset one person in all the years I’ve used it and quite honestly, that was ok.
So welcome to the humble little blog of someone who started in this industry back in 1990, who has been fortunate enough to be a part of multiple Emmy & Peabody Awards, and is happy to share as much knowledge as I can. My strengths are in editing, motion graphics, color enhancement, project management and facility design. So something, somewhere should be able to help you out!
