WH Platts & Canon to assist Production

SUGAR HILL, GA Biscardi Creative Media is proud to announce that W.H. Platts and Canon have come on board to provide production assistance for "The Rough Cut." David Strupp, W.H. Platts, has been working with Walter Biscardi, Jr. for the past year assisting Biscardi Creative Media in their transition from Standard Definition to High Definition production. When told of the movie plans, he immediate offered a complete Panasonic Varicam HD camera package for use in principal photography. �Producing the film in true High Definition, 24p with the Panasonic Varicam will really let us achieve a true film look,� said Biscardi. Canon is also sponsoring the film and will provide the use of cinema lenses for the project. Biscardi is thrilled to have Canon on board. Jim Dobbins from Canon USA heard about the project from David Strupp and offered a full set of lenses for principal photography. "We tested their CinePrime lenses a few months ago and they are just amazing. The Varicam camera is incredible on its own, but add these Canon lenses to the mix and you're just totally shooting a film, cinematic look." The film will be made available to W.H. Platts, Canon and Panasonic for demonstration purposes.
